Yes! The other day I found a hidden stash of my good drinking glasses in my boys room. They were all half filled with congealed, solidified chocolate milk. As I set to washing them in the sink, I heard a cry, a thud and a scream. I ran toward the scream and came to a sudden, mostly skidding halt in the hallway where my 6 year old was sprawled, holding his leg and screaming bloody murder. What made for the skidding stop? Well, that would be the trail of vomit running up to, and including, the spot where said screaming child was laying. He had apparently gotten sick and made a dash for the toilet, but didn't quite make it! I couldn't help the poor kid up, because my hands were covered in soap and chocolate-milk-cheese nastiness. Even if my hands had been clean, I had absolutely No footing in the slippery pile of puke and was doing my best not to fall on top of him so reaching for him was probably a bad idea! As I stood there, pondering my next move, trying not to slip and fall, and trying to calm him verbally and make sure he wasn't seriously injured in the tumble, it occurred to me that this probably doesn't happen to normal people. In a previous life I must have been a very bad person!
