What is your favorite way to clean your bathroom?
The way I usually do it is a system I have perfected over the years to be the most lazy way possible! I start with the toilet. Using a toilet brush (love the scotch-brite disposable Toilet Bowl Scrubbers) I scrub the toilet until it's clean. If it's nasty and the scrubbers don't work, I break out the Sno-Bowl cleaner and some hefty rubber gloves. Once the toilet is clean, I pour some bathroom cleaner directly into the bowl, grab a rag and dunk it in the bowl and use the rag to clean the rest of the toilet, the floor around it, the sink, etc. If the water gets really dirty, I simply flush and then add more cleaner and start with a clean bowl of solution. I grab the mop, dunk it in the toilet, mop the floor and then flush the toilet and rinse the mop in the bowl. I rinse the rag in the sink and rinse whatever surfaces need it with plain water. Then I turn my attention to the tub. The tub gets a spray of foaming cleaner and then a wipe with the rag or the mop if I need more leverage. If there is a ring that the foaming cleaner won't get, I might turn to something like soft scrub. I also might just ignore it until the next bathroom cleaning day, it depends on how neurotic I am being and if we are expecting house guests! The kids bathroom gets an added shot of bleach because they are boys and they have terrible aim. Once the toilet and floor have dried, I spray the toilet and floor around with a bleach based bathroom cleaner (Clorox people, if you are reading this, I'd be happy to use the real name if you want to give me free products in exchange!) I let the bleach sit for a while and then rinse it all down again. While the second 'cleaning' takes more time, the bleach really helps get rid of any smells and it helps keep the floor grout a little more white.
